SimTecT 2010 Simulation Training & Technology Conference

The Simulation Industry Association of Australia (SIAA) is once again proud to host SimTecT, Australasia's premier simulation and training technologies conference and exhibition.

The theme for SimTecT 2010 is: Simulation - Improving Capability and Reducing the Cost of Ownership.

SimTecT 2010 brings together the region's leading simulation practitioners, users and policy makers.

"This year the conference is taking a slightly different direction to focus on areas where simulation users and simulation suppliers must work together more effectively to create sustainable simulation solutions for long-term projects," Conference Convenor Deanna Hutchison said.

"Specially selected keynote addresses will take us into the future looking at population, technology and environment in 2030 and how to prepare our simulation capability for a more sophisticated audience.

"We will also look back and reflect on past learning, delving into the specific challenges we are currently facing around skills shortage, platform interoperability and reducing cost of ownership.

"Special presentations have been designed to explore these concepts in relation to key Defence projects AIR5428, AIR9000 Phase 7, JP3028, JP2048."
