The global engineering group SEGULA Technologies and Australian family owned advanced manufacturing company Axiom Precision Manufacturing have signed an agreement to work together.

SEGULA Technologies entered the Australian marketplace in 2017 initially in Sydney and has now expanded its operations into Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. The company has been steadily growing its workforce to cater for the companies growing interest in Defence, rail, automotive, medical, energy and other areas of high technology activities.

Axiom established itself in 1979 and is a family owned South Australian company located in Wingfield. Axiom provides services to Defence, aerospace, electronic hardware, medical devices, automotive, mining and rail.

“This continues Segula’s strategy on increasing the company’s global growth by forming long term partnerships with local industry. Our priority is to continue to build Australia’s sovereign capability for skilled engineering design and manufacturing” Ben Walhout, Australia’s Director for Defence and Automotive said.

“When we established ourselves in Australia, we focused our efforts on looking for high technology, high capability local companies. We are excited about this partnership and our collective capability to provide turnkey design and manufacturing projects for our customers”.

Axiom Precision Manufacturing General Manger Craig Maynard said: “We are thrilled to be working with Segula to offer Sovereign Capability from Design to manufacturing and through life support for Australian Defence programs. Axiom’s long history of precision electro-mechanical manufacturing is enhanced by Segula’s advanced design capabilities.”
