NHP Electrical Engineering Products (NHP) announced today the acquisition of Rexel Industrial Automation’s NSW and SE Queensland business assets related to the distribution and supply of Rockwell Automation products.

NHP has been granted sole distributor rights for Rockwell Automation products, systems and solutions in the South Pacific including Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea. This will be effective from 1st May 2018.

During April 2018, NHP and Rexel Industrial Automation will continue to trade as separate entities whilst the acquisition is formalised. NHP will be in contact with all RIA customers throughout April to ensure a seamless transition of products and services.

“We are proud and excited to be expanding our relationship with NHP across the South Pacific region as we work together to further enhance the efficiency of our customers, by delivering smarter, safer and more sustainable operational outcomes through Rockwell Automation’s Connected Enterprise solutions and by providing a simpler model to engage with our businesses," said Scott Wooldridge, Managing Director Australia and New Zealand, Rockwell Automation.

"We would like to thank Rexel for their strong partnership and collaboration over the past 17 years in this region.”
