The DMO’s Victorian/Tasmanian Business Access Office (BAO) is inviting local industry companies to a free morning seminar to learn more about existing and future Defence Projects and Industry Assistance Programs.
Registration is essential and required by noon April 13, 2012.
The seminar consists of a series of presentations and will provide attendees with an overview of the current and future issues within the Defence Industry.
There will also be numerous networking opportunities.
Defence presenters include representatives from the Rapid Prototyping, Development and Evaluation (RPDE) Program, as well as from three different DMO divisions; Electronic Systems, Commercial and Industry Programs, and Aerospace Systems.
Every so often ADM moves away from the platform based companies to look at the service side of the Defence industry. Booz & Company Australia have been working behind the scenes in Defence for some time, looking to improve processes, management frameworks and generally make businesses work better. ADM Editor Katherine Ziesing spoke to Booz & Co director David Vrancic about the issues his company and the defence community face.
