Electro Optic Systems has announced that its EOS Defence Systems business has secured a second conditional contract to supply up to 50 Remote Weapon Systems to Ukraine, including ammunition, spares, and related services.

The news that this year’s Talisman Sabre exercises off Australia will be the biggest yet and include the largest number of participating countries to date marks significant multilateralization of what was previously a mainly US-Australian exercise.

EuroTorp and Europe’s Organisation for Joint Armaments Cooperation (OCCAR) inked a deal in late February covering in-service support for the MU90 Impact Lightweight Torpedo. The deal was also significant for Australia’s relationship with OCCAR.
