Navy Health has joined the DefenceCare corporate family and will now assist to continue to provide services and develop new initiatives.
Navy Health provides their members with opportunities for better health through quality services, competitive prices, attractive benefits and immediate access.
They are a not-for-profit health fund and, whilst there is an eligibility criteria to join, most people can join.
Those eligible include:
- Current and ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF);
- Current and former members of the ADF reservists;
- Current and former members of the ADF cadets;
- Employees of organisations contracted to provide services to and employees of the Department of Defence;
- Australian Public Service employees assigned to, or directly engaged to provide services to the Department of Defence or the ADF;
- You may also be able to join Navy Health if you are related to any eligible person (above), in any of the following ways;partner, siblings, children, grandchildren, parents, grandparents
