Appointment of new chief executive, Defence SA

South Australia’s defence industry has welcomed Malcolm Jackman to the position of chief executive of Defence SA.

“The State’s defence industry looks forward to working with Mr Jackman as he leads Defence SA in its next steps to grow Defence presence and further support South Australia’s defence industry,” Navy Defence Teaming Centre CEO, Chris Burns said.

“Mr Jackman joins the South Australian Government at a critical juncture for the State’s defence industry. He will have the honour of working with a vibrant industry that is proud of its achievements, despite the Federal Government’s recent ill-informed public criticisms of its performance.” 

In welcoming Jackson to the role, Burns thanked chief executive Andrew Fletcher.
