Penske has announced the appointment of Jim Livermore as director of Penske New Zealand, effective 5 June 2017.

With significant growth in both the Penske Power Systems and Penske Commercial Vehicles businesses in NZ over the last four years, Livermore will assume overall responsibility for both businesses ensuring full integration of services.

Currently the Chief Operating Officer of Penske Power Systems, Livermore brings a wealth of experience to the role.

“Jim has an extremely strong background in operational management and business development, as well as being a seasoned leader,” Randall Seymore, president of Penske Transportation Group International said.

“He has a great understanding of the on- and off-highway markets which will enable him to identify and maximise the synergies between the Commercial Vehicles and Power Systems businesses.

Livermore will be supported by John Keenan at Penske Commercial Vehicles and Clinton Davies at Penske Power Systems ensuring business continuity.

In related news, Penske has launched new websites for the Australian and NZ markets. The new website showcases the full portfolio of Penske brands including Western Star Trucks, MAN Truck & Bus, Dennis Eagle, MTU, Detroit and Allison Transmission, in addition to Penske Truck Rental.

The website features an intuitive navigation menu and full mobile optimisation and also includes details of the Penske network within Australia and NZ and a comprehensive careers section for prospective employees.

“As our business has grown throughout Australia and New Zealand over the last few years, we have been mindful of providing customers with a full overview of our products and services,” Kimberley Ruddock, general manager – Marketing, Penske Transportation Group International said.
