The ADF has taken the next step in its enduring relationship with the Armed Forces of the Philippines with Operation Augury-Philippines transitioning to an Enhanced Defence Cooperation Program on 1 December, recognising the maturing connection between the militaries of both nations.

Chief of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Greg Bilton said the transition acknowledged the strong foundation built under the operational framework.
