UGL has provided ship repair services to the Department of Defence since 1994, and is one of only four Australian contractors pre-qualified and contracted to provide ship refit and repair services for the Royal Australian Navy and US Navy, and has successfully completed a number of major refurbishment projects on Anzac and FFG Class Frigates, and Amphibious and Afloat Support Vessels.
UGL’s services include: Overhauling and maintaining the weapons systems, machinery and plant, power generation, pumps / valves • Repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems • Electrical and instrumentation maintenance, installation and repair • Hull repairs - both aluminium and steel
