The Singapore Air Show was held at the Changi Convention Centre from 16-21 February, and once again, Team Defence Australia was a significant exhibitor, with twelve Australian SMEs exhibiting. Air Vice Marshal (retd.) John Harvey was again Chef de Mission, leading and organising the troops daily, ably assisted by Commander Michael Porter. These officials introduced exhibitors to special guests such as: the Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, His Excellency Mr Philip Green; Senior Trade Commissioner and Minister-Counsellor to Singapore, Mr Chris Rees; and Senior Business Development Manager for the Australian Trade Commission to Singapore, Mr Chris Soh.
