Turbomeca certified as an AMO

Turbomeca Australasia Pty Ltd (TAA) has been certified by the Directorate General Technical Airworthiness of the Australian Defence Force as an Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO).

The certification will see TAA perform repair and overhaul of the RTM322 and MTR390 engines and modules fitted to the ADF’s MRH 90 and ARH helicopters.

MRH LMU Director John Page presented the AMO certification to TAA Managing Director Stewart Noel at a recent ceremony at the company’s Bankstown facility.

This certification formally recognises TAA’s capability to adhere to the ADF’s Technical Airworthiness Regulations, when maintaining their aeronautical products.

The certification further enhances TAA’s existing Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
