Orion Solar has launched a new pathway light which includes an architectural lamp standard which houses a solar panel, a luminaire and all electronics and batteries in one complete unit.
Simply bolt it to a concrete pad or footing and it works, no electrical wiring.
Not even an electrician required to get it working.
The IPL Pathway Light is available with a choice of lighting profiles which will operate automatically between dusk and dawn.
This allows the light to operate at maximum brilliance during those times when light is most needed.
The luminaire also provides the user with a choice of light distributions, such a a Type II oval distribution for lighting up along a pathway.
Orion Solar demonstrated the light at AVALON 2013 with suggested uses for defence organisations.
