Land Forces 2026 will bring the global land defence community to Perth for the first time next week, providing Australian industry with an opportunity to showcase its capabilities to an international audience.

Land Forces 2026 will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from Tuesday 6 to Thursday 8 October, with 964 participating exhibitor companies and organisations, including 758 Australian companies and organisations.

Representatives from 60 nations will attend Land Forces 2026, positioning Perth as a meeting point for Australian and international organisations working across defence, technology and advanced manufacturing.

The event will also host 258 government, industry and academic delegations, supporting focused engagement across the land defence ecosystem.

“Land Forces provides an important platform for Australian industry to showcase the breadth and depth of capability being developed across the country,” AMDA Foundation, CEO, Justin Giddings said.

“Bringing the event to Perth for the first time gives that capability an international stage, connecting Australian businesses with global customers, partners and supply chains and creating opportunities to grow Australian industry at home and overseas.”

The event will feature six international pavilions and dedicated pavilions representing every Australian state and territory, alongside 27 sponsors.

Australian companies will showcase capabilities spanning advanced manufacturing, engineering, cyber security, robotics and autonomy, communications, logistics, research, workforce development, infrastructure and national security, highlighting the technologies and skills supporting Australia’s future land capability.

The three-day program will also feature 66 conferences, symposia and presentations involving 144 speakers, including the Chief of Army Symposium, Army Innovation Day and the Innovation Pitchfest & Awards. Ten finalists will compete for $100,000 in prize money as they present emerging ideas and technologies for future defence capability.

For Western Australia, the event provides an opportunity for local businesses and researchers to build connections with Defence and international markets, while highlighting the breadth of capability being developed across the state.

“Land Forces is about creating practical connections between the people developing capability and those who need it,” Giddings said.

“We are extremely grateful to the Western Australian Government and Western Australia Police Force for their support and collaboration, without which we could not have delivered an event of this scale in Perth.”

Land Forces 2026 is organised by AMDA Foundation, with support from the Australian Army, the Western Australian Government, Defence West and Business Events Perth.
