    Capability Description
    Saab is the leading Australian company for design and implementation of tactical data link capabilities into navy ships. Integration into the ANZAC frigates Combat Management System was done entirely in Australia. ANZAC frigates have since been upgraded to a multi-link capability (Link-11, Link-16, JREAP & Variable Message Format (VMF)) which has also been integrated into the Canberra class Landing Helicopter Docks and the Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment ships. Link-22 capabilities and integration into other vessels will be added in the future.

    Saab has one of the world’s most comprehensive ranges of land force training systems which are used by large and small armed forces to maximise their operational readiness and effectiveness. The latest capabilities include high fidelity, two-way laser training devices and tuition for Counter Improvised Explosive Devices, laser based gunnery training for tanks and moving target/small arms ranges. All training devices can be joined into a comprehensive control system called GAMER allowing training staff to monitor, evaluate and correct up to battalion size training groups.
