    The engineering group at TAE Aerospace has proven that intelligent application of Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) principles, coupled with state-of-the-art condition monitoring equipment and techniques, deliver asset performance improvements that can be measured in real dollar savings and increased system availability and safety. Our extensive experience in knowledge-based fleet planning tools to optimise engine fleet availability and maintenance schedules has led us and our partners to become the Total Logistics Support supplier for the RAAF’s fleet of General Electric F404 and F414 engines fitted to the Hornet and Super Hornet aircraft, and the Honeywell AGT1500 fitted to the Abrams Main Battle Tank. Our in-house engine test cell design, build and correlation capability consistently delivers cost effective solutions for customers. We provide a range of specialist manufacturing in support of the JSF and other customers. Our facilities have a wide range of machining capabilities, from large vertical and horizontal borers to high speed 5 -axis CNC machining centres, lathes and electrical discharge machines. Our machining and grinding facilities provide specialist support through the use of advanced manufacturing techniques and state-of-the-art equipment that enables us to machine and measure small, close-tolerance parts. Our specialist processing range includes robotic controlled shot-peening, heat treatment, aluminium vacuum brazing, TIG welding, along with spot and gas welding for surface refurbishments.
