Babcock Australasia (Babcock) has been offered an extended Counter Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) Prime Vendor contract to support the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

The new three-year contract extension is worth approximately $37 million, and supports 132 different types of Counter CBRNE equipment, including explosive ordnance disposal equipment, unmanned ground vehicles and chemical detection systems.

“We are also proud to support Defence SMEs to deliver this contract, who in turn, support this key capability for the ADF.”

Babcock supports Defence to manage existing, and acquire new Counter CBRNE capability, including equipment acquisitions, maintenance and repairs.
