Bellinger Systems has announced the signing of an agreement with Leonardo DRS (USA) to bring Tactical Data Link technologies into Australia.

The signing of this long-term Agreement underpins several recent contract awards to deliver and integrate Link 22 Tactical Data Link (TDL) technologies into the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

"This is a truly remarkable time in the history of Bellinger Systems," said General Manager of Bellinger Systems, Dave Hartshorne.

Now we can demonstrate the ability to not only integrate TDL technologies but work collaboratively with International OEM’s such as Leonardo DRS to develop interoperable solutions for the ADF. Link 22 TDL capability requirements are rapidly approaching us, and Bellinger is on the front foot to support the ADF’s need in this area.”

This agreement will allow Bellinger Systems to procure, integrate Bellinger Systems, Signs Historic Agreement with Leonardo DRSand support Leonardo DRS technologies to provide more timely delivery of Link 22 and other TDL operational requirements for the ADF.

“The customer focus and collaborative culture of Bellinger Systems and Leonardo DRS has proven to be an ideal match with proven success, including the GA-205 modernisation program that serves as the foundation for the broader Link-22 relationship.”

The agreement builds further on the current GA-205 Time Division Multiplexer modernisation and delivery program which Bellinger has collaborated with Leonardo DRS on. This program is in the middle of formal qualification activities and will deliver 100 GA-205 units to the ADF in 2024/25.
