Defence Teaming Centre (DTC) announced the appointment of Libby Day as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the association, commencing Monday 24 July 2023.

Ms. Day is the Deputy Chair of the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre and is an advisor to the Medical Technology Association of Australia. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Public Affairs at the University of Sydney and is GAICD qualified with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

The DTC’s Chairperson, Lee Houlson said “We are delighted to welcome Libby to the DTC. Her extensive experience, strategic mindset, and proven leadership abilities make her the ideal choice to position the DTC and its members to be ready to meet the needs of Defence in this new landscape.

“We are thrilled to work alongside her as we embark on this exciting journey of growth and transformation for the defence industry,” Ms Houlson added.

"It’s exciting and important time to be joining the DTC. The Defence Strategic Review and AUKUS announcements provide an opportunity to accelerate the work of the DTC to benefit members and broader stakeholders,” Ms Day said.
