KBR has announced that Nic Maan will take up the role of Vice President (VP) for its Government Solutions APAC business after current VP, Rob Hawketts took the decision to retire effective 31 July 2023.
Hawketts has been with the company for 24 years in total and has served as Vice President since 2015.
"After 24 years of service with this great company, I have decided that it is time for me to retire. It has been an honour to lead this organisation and work alongside such a talented and dedicated team. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and have no doubt that KBR will continue to thrive," Hawketts said.
"We are grateful to Rob for his contributions to KBR over the years. Under his leadership, the company has achieved tremendous success and growth in Australia. We wish him all the best in his retirement," Paul Kahn, President Government Solutions International said.
Nic Maan will assume the role of Vice President for Government Solutions APAC from 1 June 2023. KBR says this will afford time for an effective transition.
An experienced engineer and program manager, Maan joined KBR in 2022. He has held senior executive roles across defence, including aerospace, satellite communications, secure communications and space.
