Leidos has named Andrew Campbell as Leidos Australia’s Vice President, Business Development, where he will lead the local team of capture and business development professionals responsible for all new in-country business pursuits.

Campbell brings over two decades of business development, programme management and business operations experience to the role.

He first joined Leidos Australia in August 2016 as a Capture Manager, becoming Head of Capture Operations a year later, before being promoted to Director Capture Operations in August 2020.

Prior to joining Leidos, Campbell worked for Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems in the UK, working across a range of program management, operational and business development roles.

“Andrew’s deep understanding of the market and our business, together with his excellent leadership skills, will ensure our outstanding local business development team continues to solve our Australian customers’ most challenging problems, and by doing so, drive the next phase of our strong growth,” said Jason Albanese, Leidos Senior Vice President Strategy & Business Development.

Campbell started in his new role on August 14, while Leidos Australia’s previous Vice President Business Development Hans Tench moved into the newly created role of Vice President Asia Pacific Business Development and Australia Strategy.
