The 20th annual ADM Congress was held at the Hyatt Hotel in Canberra on 21 June 2023, attracting around 400 delegates.

Defence leaders gathered to discuss the future of Australia's defence capability and acquisitions including: Minister for Defence Industry Pat Conroy, Assistant Defence Minister Matt Thistlethwaite, Chief of the Defence Force General Angus Campbell, Shadow Defence Minister Andrew Hastie, Deputy Secretary CASG Chris Deeble, GWEO lead Air Marshal Leon Phillips, Chief Defence Scientist Dr Tanya Monro, Acting First Assistant Secretary for the Program Delivery & Industry Nuclear Powered Submarines Taskforce Alison Petchell, and more.

Industry and academic leaders on the day's agenda included Boeing Defence Australia VP and MP Scott Carpendale; Hanwha Defense Australia MD Richard Cho; Director of Defence, Strategy and National Security for ASPI Bec Shrimpton; and senior representatives from Babcock, JLL, McKinsey, KBR, BAE Systems, NIOA, Austal, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and Rheinmetall.
