ASRG is the acknowledged, long-established, internationally-recognised peak industry body representing Australian companies in the shipbuilding and ship repair industry sectors and supply chains supporting those sectors. ASRG facilitates Defence and industry engagement for issues including WHS, environmental, development/implementation of international and domestic regulations etc, and is recognised at all levels of Government in Australia as representing participants from Primes through to SMEs. Providing a 24/7 emergency voyage repair service, ASRG also delivers internationally-accredited training for the safe docking/undocking of vessels.

Capability Description
Formed prior to WWII, the Australian Shipbuilding & Repair Group (ASRG) continues to be the recognised peak industry body on behalf of the Australian shipbuilding and repair industry sectors for all vessel categories and associated supply chain companies, providing in excess of 1,000 products and services to the domestic and international market.
The ASRG is dedicated to the promotion and support of Australia’s shipbuilding and ship repair industry.
The ASRG has well-established agreements with various overseas Navies, including an agreement of the past two decades with the USN to co-ordinate repairs as required throughout the Pacific and Indian Ocean regions.
