Hawker Pacific has been awarded a contract to provide Ground Handling Services to No. 34 Squadron (34 SQN), Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), which provides a professional air transport capability to the Australian Government, Governor-General, visiting heads of state and dignitaries.

The contract is in support a fleet of two BBJ-737 and three Challenger CL604 aircraft when operating at Hawker Pacific’s Australian Fixed Base Operations (FBO’s) located at Perth, Cairns, Brisbane and Sydney airports.

This two year initial contract (with options), builds on a long standing relationship between Hawker Pacific, 34 SQN and the Australian Government.

Commencing in 1989, Hawker Pacific became the first provider of aircraft to the RAAF under a turn-key civil lease for a fleet of five Falcon 900 aircraft for a period of over 13 years through to 2002.

Hawker Pacific has been a provider of ground handling support to 34 SQN since 2004 across the company’s Australian FBO locations.

Tthe awarding of this contract builds on the excellent relationship we have with the ADF and especially 34 Squadron and we look forward to delivering exceptional customer service to the Squadron over the next two years and beyond,” Graham Owen Vice President Flight Services said.
