Electro Optic Systems (EOS) has announced several changes to their team leadership.

Christian Tobergte has been appointed to lead the EOS Defence Systems International activity and is based in Europe. Tobergte has extensive experience driving business growth and has been appointed to lead and grow EOS Defence Systems' activity outside Australia. 

He has significant business development experience in Europe, the Middle East and other markets, and has held several senior leadership roles within Rheinmetall over 13 years, including roles in Dusseldorf, Zurich and Abu Dhabi.

His key focus areas will include driving the international growth of the EOS Remote Weapons Systems (RWS) products, including the R150 and R800 RWS products and the companies new Slinger counter-drone system. He will also work to further develop the Company’s global sales and marketing maturity, particularly in the high-growth counter-drone market.

Ian Cook has been appointed to lead the growth of EOS Defence Systems' activity in Australia. With over 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles in defence businesses in Australia, including Thales and General Dynamics, he will focus on EOS Defence Systems global engineering, supply chain and manufacturing activities.

Cook started with EOS in November 2023 and is based in Canberra, Australia.

Clive Cuthell has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer, in addition to his existing role as Chief Financial Officer. This expanded remit will see Cuthell responsible for ensuring execution of key group initiatives to support growth.

EOS stated that they see these changes as a key milestone in its stated strategic intent to grow the business in international markets.
