L-3 Security & Detection Systems announced that over 100 of its VIS-108 automated explosives detection systems (EDS) have been upgraded to VIS-HR EDS systems that meet EU Standard 2 requirements.
The VIS-HR field upgrade process consists of replacing select software and hardware components, and can be completed with minimal interruption to screening operations.

The VIS-HR builds on L-3’s industry-leading technology with advanced explosives detection, clear images and throughput rates up to 1,800 bags per hour.
