The new Dolan-Jenner Fiber-Lite – MiLED Fiber Optic Illuminator can be used for microscopy and general illumination. The energy efficient MiLED features cool white LED lighting with a colour temperature of 5000K. Designed with microscopy applications in mind, it is able to support and fully illuminate goose-neck and annular ring light fiber optics. It is also a great solution for inspection equipment, forensics, machine vision, industrial bore-scopes, assembly stations and OEM custom lighting.
The LED lighting of the Fiber-Lite is an energy-efficient, cost-saving alternative requiring less power while delivering higher performance than comparable 150W halogens. Offering even more value, it is practically maintenance free with no lamps or lamp sockets to wear out. They are rated to provide over 40,000 hours of light compared to a 150W halogens providing only 200 hours of light. Therefore large savings can be realised through greater uptime during application, lower maintenance and the elimination of replacement bulbs.
