2020 ANI Goldrick Seminar – Remote and Autonomous Systems at Sea

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Goldrick Seminar has been replaced by the Goldrick Webinars. They will be held at 1300 each Wednesday, commencing 7 October. 

The Goldrick Webinars will discuss the wide range of issues around Remote and Autonomous Systems (RAS) at Sea. Such as integration issues, RAS in the Littoral Domain; RAS in the Maritime Air Domain; RAS in the Undersea Domain; measuring Effective, and the Legal and Ethical Considerations.

With the upcoming Land Forces 2021 being held in Brisbane, AIDN has designed a workshop to assist AIDN members and the wider Defence Industry community to plan their individual organisations’ journey to Land Forces 2021.

The 4th Annual Systems Modelling Conference was supposed to be hold on September 10th but due to impacts of Covid-19 restriction, the conference is postponed to October 27th.

Major Training Services are the provider to Defence for the delivery of the short online course on Technical Data/Intellectual Property clauses in its ASDEFCON suite of templates to CASG Personnel.

9th Annual Northern Australia Defence Summit will be a high-level policy-driven summit with a theme and focus on ‘Mobilising defence capability and force posture in Northern Australia.’

In November each year, the Defence Chief Information Officer Group (CIOG) partners with the UNSW Canberra and the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) to present MilCIS.

Due to COVID-19, Locate20 has been rescheduled for Locate21 happening in Brisbane March 30 – 1 April 2021. The event will focus on how geospatial technologies are intersecting with business, Government and defence to address national challenges.
