EOS Defence Systems has been crowned double winner at the 2018 ACT Chief Minister’s Export Awards.

In the ceremony held at the National Gallery of Australia, the EOS team scooped the Manufacturing Category award and were also named the ACT Exporter of the Year.

'EOS is proud of this recognition by the ACT Government of EOS Defence Systems," Grant Sanderson, CEO of EOS, said. "We have secured a number of large international contracts over the last two years, however, the true value of these contracts to Australia is only as good as the performance by the manufacturing and delivery team at EOS Defence Systems.

"Under the leadership of Dr Warwick Holloway and his management team, EOS Defence Systems is delivering outstanding productivity, quality and performance against very demanding targets."

‘The Award is a fantastic opportunity for us to reflect on what we have achieved not only over the last year but also the years leading up to this point - EOS Defence Systems is an overnight success that took 30 years to build!" Dr Warwick Holloway, President, EOS Defence Systems Australia said.

"To all the staff that have helped make this happen, I thank you. Thanks also to the ACT Government and the Canberra Chamber of Commerce for their support."

As winner of the ACT awards, EOS Defence Systems qualifies for the 56th Australian Export Awards National Ceremony taking place on 27 November 2018 at the National Arboretum.

EOS was recently announced as the remote weapons system provider for Land 400 Phase 2, placing the company in pole position for Phase 3.
