  GME has demonstrated the ability to provide trusted communications equipment to the Australian Department of Defence, the Queensland-based Ergon Energy Network and the demanding commercial road transport industry. GME supplies CB radios, antennas and emergency beacons to the Australian Department of Defence, many of which are codified with NATO Stock Numbers (NSN) reflecting Defence’s confidence in the products.   Capability Description
  For over 40 years, GME has provided Emergency Position Indicating Radio-Beacons (EPIRBs) and Personal Locator Beacons (PLBs) for use on the global Cospas Sarsat satellite-based alert and rescue service. GME is the only accredited Australian designer and manufacturer of emergency beacons and GME is uniquely positioned to provide large-scale production. GME operates at speed and scale with a monthly manufacturing capacity of 45,000 completed products, including PLBs, EPIRBs, CB radios, and antennas.
