Saab has received an order from BAE Systems Hägglunds for the sight and fire control system Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft System (UTAAS) for Combat Vehicle 90. The order has been priced at approximately SEK 314 million (approx. A $51 million). Deliveries will take place 2029-2030.
"The increasing global demand for the CV90 underscores its proven capabilities and reliability on the battlefield. Our long-standing partnership with BAE Systems Hägglunds has enabled us to enhance our production capacity for the UTAAS, ensuring that we can meet the growing needs of our customers," Head of Saab’s business area Surveillance, Carl-Johan Bergholm, said.
