Honeywell and ST Engineering to explore collaborations supporting defence aviation operators across the Asia-Pacific region after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
“As defense modernization needs across Asia Pacific continue to evolve, this MOU reflects Honeywell’s strategic intent to expand support with trusted regional industry leaders,” Honeywell Aerospace, Vice President, Defense and Space, Asia Pacific, Sathesh Ramiah, said.
“By aligning Honeywell’s advanced aerospace technologies with ST Engineering’s strong local capabilities, we are exploring ways to support long-term mission readiness, resilience and sustainment for defense operators in the region.”
Under the MOU, Honeywell and ST Engineering will evaluate potential solutions focused on retrofit, modification, upgrade and sustainment for military aircraft operators.

“The MOU provides a framework to explore how our combined expertise can support evolving operational needs across Asia Pacific.”
Together, the companies will assess opportunities including the potential establishment of a retrofit, modification and upgrade centre of excellence and maintenance capabilities for Honeywell’s avionics systems.
