Northrop Grumman’s Microelectronics Center to collaborate with commercial and defence companies to support the need for secure, application-tailored semiconductor solutions.
“The customers we serve demand timely, cost competitive and high-performance semiconductor solutions because their applications are among the most complex and critical to the infrastructure on Earth and in outer space,” Director of external sales for the Microelectronics Center, Mike Barsky, said.
“Whether it's in the skies, at sea, on land or in orbit, Northrop Grumman’s microelectronics need to perform with unmatched reliability.”
For decades, Northrop Grumman has provided semiconductor fabrication services, catalog products and access to next-generation technologies to commercial, government, research, academia and startup companies.

The company has opened access to the needs of the defense industry with some of Northrop Grumman's current customers including:
- Lockheed Martin: Producing low noise amplifiers and advanced packaging for defence systems
- Jet Propulsion Lab: Producing climate science microelectronics and Terahertz sensing technologies
- Rohde & Schwarz: Offering foundry services like GaN technologies and next-generation products to enable test and measurement equipment
- Nokia: Developing heterogenous integration for next-generation communication devices with Nokia Bell Labs
