Saab has signed further collaboration agreements Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) and WB Group, deepening its collaboration with Poland’s defence industry.
"Signing these new agreements with both PGZ Group and WB Group marks important new milestones in strengthening collaboration between the Polish and Swedish defence industries. By sharing expertise and scaling up innovation together, we can ensure the development of advanced solutions and capabilities that will contribute to security and stability in Europe and the Baltic Sea region," President and CEO of Saab, Micael Johansson, stated.
Saab’s new agreement with PGZ sets out the intention for collaboration relating to in-country submarine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities within Poland’s Orka submarine program.
The new agreement with WB Group has included the intention to collaborate on autonomous naval systems and unmanned aerial systems Gladius and Future Task Force.
Saab previously signed collaboration agreements both with PGZ and WB Group in September 2025. These current agreements represent a further progression from the initial partnerships.
