To help Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) migrate to VoIP, the new R&S VCS-Gateway will be introduced into the R&S VCS-4G system architecture.
It will complete the Rohde & Schwarz portfolio of gateways and interface options for upgrading the customer’s installed base.
The gateway enables smooth interworking of newer ED137-oriented and TDM-based voice communications system solutions and, additionally, common sharing of radio resources via VoIP. This integrated solution allows for flexible support of migration and integration scenarios and protects the customer’s capital investment.
The innovative R&S VCS-Gateway migration solution has already triggered considerable interest by ANSPs.
