AeroPM has partnered with veteran-owned and operated Sonder as a modern alternative to an Employee Assistance Program.

AeroPM signed on as the launch Defence customer for Sonder, taking advantage of their medical, mental health, safety and wellbeing support for the AeroPM employees.

Founded in 2017, Sonder is a wellbeing and safety company who services organisations across corporations, education, and government sectors. Sonder provides a technology solution backed by a team comprised of medical and mental health professionals, and former (or off-duty) emergency services personnel.

The application provides all AeroPM staff and their families with access to 24/7 real-time support through chat and phone, confidential care and advice, safety alerts and Sonder’s own “Check-On-Me” and “Track-My-Journey” functions.

"We're delighted to join Sonder and be their launch customer into Defence," AeroPM’s Chief Executive Officer, Emily Frizell, said. "Our staff are second-to-none and they deserve the very best. Partnering with a company that equally understands how to deliver excellence is important to us; the fact that they represent another Australian veteran success story makes it even better.

"Naturally we hope that our team won’t find themselves needing support very often, but it is fantastic piece-of-mind to know that they and their families, can access medical professionals in person (and at home) or online should they need it."

"Whilst we have signed on some of Australia’s biggest and most successful companies, our first foray into the Defence market is particularly special, given the founders of Sonder and many of our team are veterans themselves," Rodney Davis, Head of Government and Education at Sonder, said. "AeroPM’s employees and their families now stand to benefit from access to confidential, premium medical, mental health, wellbeing and safety support through the touch of a button.

"Additionally, I can see it being key to AeroPM being able to attract and retain talent in the future."

The partnership will remain in place for a minimum of three years and comes at no cost to AeroPM employees.
