International Day for Women in Maritime 2025

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority, Australian Maritime College, WISTA Australia, and the Nautical Institute invite you to join them for International Day for Women in Maritime 2025.

The day will feature a range of exciting and engaging activities, including facilitated group discussions and a panel session hosted by Carolyn Nixon with inspiring speakers from across the maritime industry including Dr. Peggy Chen, Capt. Adam Roberts, Commander Alisha Withers, and Deck Officer Caitlin Garret. The event’s MC will be Capt. Amanda Brew and closing remarks will be heard from Capt. Jeanine Drummond.

For those attending in person, you can enjoy a tour of the Australian Maritime College.

The Townsville Defence Forum will be a localised policy-driven forum.

A high-level policy-driven forum, focusing on creating strategic sovereign maritime capability in the West.
