The Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter Project Office (ARHPO) has deployed Absolute Data Group’s R4i Viewer on the Defence Restricted Network (DRN).
Utilised by defence force personnel and defence suppliers involved in the maintenance and operations of mission critical defence platforms, the R4i Viewer system enables fast, one-click access to electronic procedures, checklists, “hot spot” illustrations and illustrated parts data.
Deploying the R4i Viewer will allow the ADF to leverage maintenance content, even when working with complex
documents or manuals.
Real-time data can be routed to operators and maintenance personnel, ensuring equipment remains operational, while fault steps, auto generated alerts and work flows assist in maintenance tasks.
Supplementing paper manuals, the R4i Viewing system can provides maintainers and operators with a dynamic, interactive multimedia experience.
The R4i supports dynamic presentation of SGML, XML and PDF as well as audio, video and written content.
