The Australian Defence Test Evaluation Organisation carried out testing with DSTO support.
"There's lots of things that come out of these sorts of tests," Land 121 director general Brigadier David O'Brien said.
"Some vehicles get bogged, some don't, some are a rough ride, some aren't and some go faster than others.
"So it's been a good insight into the vehicle performance, and all part of the testing."
The down select to the final two contenders is due to go to government November with an announcement in early 2010 if all goes to plan.
Vehicles from MAN, BAE Systems, Thales Australia, Oshkosh and Mercedes have all been fanging around the tracks and will have reached the Victorian base by the time this hits the ADM website.
Keep an eye out for the October Land Warfare edition of ADM that will have a closer look at Land 121 Phases 3 and 4.
