AeroPM has been named Champion Professional Services at the Australian Small Business Champion Gala Dinner and awards Ceremony held on Saturday 27th February at the ICC Sydney, with around 1,000 guests in attendance.
Recognised as the ‘Oscars’ for small business, the Australian Small Business Champion Awards is the only national recognition program for Australian small businesses.
AeroPM was founded in 2014 by Emily Frizell, after she had served 16 years in the RAAF. She was joined by her husband Adam Frizell in 2018 after he served 22 years in the RAAF when AeroPM gained placement on the Defence Support Services Panel.
In 2020, AeroPM onboarded its 60th employee and it currently maintains a veteran employment rate of over 80 per cent.
“The Australian Small Business Champion Awards is a way to recognise the efforts of small business people whose efforts contribute to the prosperity and vitality of communities across Australia," Steve Loe, Managing Director of Precedent Productions and founder of the awards, said. “As a small business owner myself, I know the vision and dedication to excellence required to succeed. These traits have been displayed in abundance by all or our 2020 Small Business Champions.
This award is recognition of the entire AeroPM team as ‘above-the-line’ Defence consultancy of choice. The expertise, dedication, commitment and hard work that our consulting team put into producing high quality outputs for the client can be attributed to this fantastic recognition."
“Our key point of difference is our people," Emily Frizell, CEO AeroPM, said. "AeroPM’s rapid growth and success is due to a clear business strategy and targeted recruitment of highly skilled professionals. Having employed over 60 talented individuals within the last two years, we have maintained an 80 per cent veteran employment rate and a strong focus on structured professionalisation within the workforce.”
