Aeronautical technology company Innovaero Technologies has announced that Innovaero has been awarded membership to the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP).

DISP membership will enable Innovaero to work on information and assets managed by the Australian Defence Force (ADF), as well as Australian intelligence and law enforcement agencies.

Based in Kardinya Western Australia, Innovaero is a 100% Australian owned aeronautical product design, certification and manufacturing company. While Innovaero has been operating under a high-level security environment for some time, DISP membership demonstrates capability that Innovaero meets the security requirements of defence, other government entities and leading industry partners both in Australia and overseas.

The DISP application process involved identifying and managing security and cyber risks, extensive team training and the development of security policies.

“Achieving DISP certification marks a significant milestone in Innovaero’s growth as an Australian owned and operated manufacturer and opens up a wide variety of opportunities for Innovaero, which we have already begun exploring with the Commonwealth and Defence primes,” Innovaero Group Chief Executive Officer, Simon Grosser, said.

“This significant achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Innovaero team.”
