Fire control systems developer Smartshooter has announced the establishment of its new Australian subsidiary, Smash Australia.

The company's expansion efforts from their headquarters in Yagur, Israel include a European subsidiary located in Düsseldorf, Germany, an American subsidiary in Maryland, and now an Australian subsidiary.

"We are thrilled to announce the establishment of our new Australian subsidiary. This marks an exciting chapter in Smartshooter's growth as a global leader in fire control systems," said Michal Mor, CEO of Smartshooter.

By being present in Australia, we are now better positioned to address the needs of our local customers and partners, and we look forward to fostering new collaborations within this region."

Smartshooter will present its Smash fire control systems, which utilise machine learning to ensure more precise hit capabilities, at the Army Robotics Exposition 2023 on 29 and 30 August.

The company display will showcase Smash Hopper as part of the QinetiQ response to the Chief of Army Challenge.
