Nova Systems has signed an agreement with the Australian Space Agency for the provision of specialist advice in support of turnkey launch, re-entry and ground capability services.

The agreement comes as Australia prepares for increased activity, which may include launches of space objects (including high power rockets) from Australia, returning space objects to Australia, and operating launch facilities within Australia.

“Our commitment to enabling a sovereign launch capability to the Australian Space Agency, reinforces our strategic agreement signed in 2018, which is founded on enhancing the capability and competitiveness of the Australian space sector," Nova Systems ANZ Chief Executive, Steven Robinson said.

“We have been directly involved in space technologies for almost 20 years, offering the full breadth of technical services across the various space segments," Robinson said.

“Enabling Space launch and returns through support to the Australian Space Agency is a natural extension of Nova Systems’ flight test background, which covers a breadth of technologies including ISR, Unmanned Air Vehicle, sub-orbital rocket launches and hypersonic test activities.”
