ICD Asia Pacific, Ventia’s engineering subsidiary, has been awarded a Standing Offer Arrangement by the Department of Defence to provide ongoing engineering, supply chain, and other technical specialist services to support delivery within the Joint Capability Group (JCG) of the Defence Fuel Supply Chain, in partnership with the Department’s Fuel Services Branch.

The contract is for the provision of fuel engineering, auditor, specialist POL and project management services to support the development and sustainment of their fuel infrastructure network.

"This Fuel Support Services contract delivers an enhanced contract management approach with a focus on performance and deliverables. The contract has also been built to ensure strong collaboration between FSB and contractor and includes innovation opportunities for the Defence Fuel Supply Chain," Colonel Mark Baldock, Acting Director General, Fuel Services Branch.

"This contract further strengthens our strategic partnership with Defence and puts us in a good position to continue to support ADF in increasing fuel network resiliency and capability while navigating the coming energy transition," Trevor Walker, General Manager of Engineering and Technology said.

Dr Walker said that key to ICD’s win has been the company’s 52-years of experience in providing technical services to the oil and gas industry, in addition to the successful delivery of ADF fuel infrastructure projects across Australia.
