Our Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) services are built on processing and analysis of multispectral, radar, LiDAR, thermal, hyperspectral and short-wave infrared data; these sources are analysed and fused with non-imagery-based open-source data to build a complete intelligence picture. Commercial space-based ISR has a key role to play in protecting Australia and its interests; with emphasis on the ability to share commercially derived products to civilian authorities and agencies as needed. Capability Description
Our Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) solution is based on data fusion for a multi-intelligence approach including earth observation data, satellite-AIS, radio frequency and OSINT. Our unique access to over 300 commercial satellites, including optical and radar, means we can detect, identify and track vessels anywhere in the world. MDA is of critical importance for threat prevention, safety at sea and environmental protection. Our automatic vessel detection, position prediction and drift modelling algorithms support activities including Illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, illegal arrivals and imports, Search and Rescue, oil-spill detection, critical infrastructure security and patterns of activity analysis.
