Capability Description
Downer Defence has a long heritage supporting the management and upkeep of the Defence estate, and commencing February 2026, The Property and Asset Services contract - part of Defence’s Base Services Transformation program - will see Downer operating in QLD, NSW & ACT for the delivery of:
• Defence base and estate facilities maintenance operations
• Aerodrome operations
• Land Management
• Training area and range management
• Integration services.
Downer provides through-life sustainment capability built over many decades of delivery managed services, asset management, facilities management, engineering and conditional assessment, and a large range of support and operational services to the ADF enabling programs such as Talisman Sabre.

Capability Description
Downer Professional Services (DPS), part of the Downer Group, delivers outcomes that put Australia’s interests first. As a Major Service Provider, we partner with CASG and NSSG, providing a broad range of Defence and technical specialists—including engineers, program and project managers, and procurement and commercial experts—to enable Defence to acquire and sustain critical capabilities for the warfighter. Concurrently, our Technical, Advisory and Capability teams deliver services such as program and project management; ICT architecture, networking and delivery; and specialist engineers to scope, design and deliver future Defence capabilities, and assure critical communications networks. DPS supports this work across five service streams:

Capability Description
