  Capability Description
  The ACE Training Centre is home to Australia’s only OEM Level D AW139 Full Flight Simulator which helps prepare pilots for the challenges of operating in unpredictable environments with realistic scenarios. It is available for a Type Rating Course which provides knowledge and proficiency to acquire a AW139 type rating. The Full Flight Simulator is part of the Leonardo global network of authorised training centres and holds CASA and EASA certifications. It is currently utilised by ADF Pilots.

  The Aviation Crewing Excellence (ACE) Training Centre in Sydney is a purpose-built centre of excellence that offers a world class aviation training facility, with highly realistic mission simulation technology with a focus on technical and nontechnical skills for aircrew and operational teams. With an AW139 Level D Full Flight Simulator and a HUET theatre creating a training environment up to Sea State 3, the centre of excellence is set up to meet aviation and maritime needs. It is currently utilised by ADF Personnel.
