BAE Systems to continue to deliver aviation training to RBAirF
BAE Systems will continue delivering military aviation training to the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), with the signing of a contract to train six students across three courses during 2014-15.
RBAirF pilot training began in 2009, when two students started basic flying training (BFT). Since then the relationship has deepened, with the Air Force putting students through other training packages, including basic rotary-wing, fixed-wing, multi-engine and flight instructor training.
The contract was signed on behalf of the RBAirF by Deputy Commander Colonel Hamzah Sahatand the Officer Commanding 63 Sqn/Flying Training School, RBAirF, Major Azmie Iskandar Ariffin, who visited Flight Training Tamworth.
