Aspen Medical has recently signed an extension on two of its major Australian Defence Force (ADF) healthcare contracts for the Albury/Wodonga and Puckapunyal Military Areas.

The contracts are now extended until June 2012, with options for extensions for a further two years.

Albury/Wodonga and Puckapunyal are the only two ADF sites in Australia where the complete health services are contracted out to a civilian contractor.

Aspen Medical provides or manages all health services, from primary care, to diagnostics (pathology and radiology), allied health (such as pharmacy and physiotherapy), rehabilitation and secondary care.

Aspen Medical has been contracted by the ADF to provide these services in Puckapunyal since 2005, and Albury/Wodonga since 2007.
