Embraer has signed a service agreement to support the Hungarian Air Force’s C-390 Millennium fleet. This contract will provide maintenance, logistical and technical support to Hungarian Air Force using Embraer European footprint.

“This agreement marks another important step in our partnership with the Hungarian Air Force. We are committed to building a long-term relationship that ensures sustained operational excellence through comprehensive support services. Hungary has demonstrated the aircraft’s outstanding reliability and versatility, and we look forward to continuing this collaboration to meet all current and future mission requirements,”  Embraer Services & Support, VP Customer Support & Aftermarket Sales, Douglas Lobo, highlighted.

According to Embraer, in November 2025, the country, which is the second NATO operator of the C-390, became the first nation to receive all its contracted multi-mission aircraft, now having two units.

These next-generation aircraft will perform a wide range of military and civilian missions, including medical evacuation, humanitarian support, search and rescue, cargo and troop transport, precision cargo airdrops, paratrooper operations, and air-to-air refuelling.

According to the company, the Hungarian C-390s are the first in the world to feature a modular roll-on/roll-off medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
